Cool! Nice job! I just made one too! There's some recipes at this site www.what-is-flan.com Kinda interesting. I didn't know flan was made in so many places.

You definitely should put it in the fridge for a couple of hours (over night if possible...)... That way it will look firm when you flip it :)

My flan crumbled when I put it on the plate. Should I have let it cool down or something?

That's the real deal!! I'd know!! I'm mexican and my mom used to do this when we were growing up!! Tip: if you wanna go further add a pack of cream cheese it would be even creamier and more delicious!!

Could you give the amounts of each ingredient used? I'd love to make this but I don't want to do it wrong. Thanks!

There's a store in Manhattan that sells every (well, just about everything known to mankind that has to do with kitchen/cooking/baking/et)... Name escapes me... But do google it and if it's in Manhattan, NYC, then you found the place!

Yes, the rectangular pan has water that was heated up before the flan era went into it. The water should go about 1/2 the way up the flan era pan.
