I used normal granulated sugar. Though I've also tried it with brown sugar and granulared raw cane sugar and it works just fine. :)

I tried this today and it's really good. I just replaced it with olive oil instead. It's really good, Betty Crocker instant brownie mix standard! This satisfies my chocolate cravings. 😉 thanks Shannon! 😊

Is it possible that I'm bad enough at baking to burn my brownies in the oven AND in the microwave?😓

I used cooking, you can use any but just make sure it doesn't have any sugar in it because you've already added enough into the brownie. Otherwise it could get too sweet!

Good one! I added about 1.5 tsp of finely ground coffee to this to give it that extra kick of flavour. Perfect with a tall, cold glass of milk!
