Leave two inches after the arm pits of the shirt, make sure the t-shirt is even, and start cutting these slits on the seam. Leave quite a bit of space at end don't cut all the way down.

To do the "knot" grab your first piece of fabric you cut up previously. Twist it a couple times around your finger, keep that loop open. (I had to twist mine more because I cut longer slits) ...

Put #2 inside the loop of #1 (the above) .. Leave a comment if you still don't get it ! Now repeat the rest of the way down!
