How to Make a Messy Bun Headband From Vintage Ribbon
I used the black headband from this pack of headbands I got from Target, and this vintage ribbon.
Fold the ribbon like ribbon candy, only more loosely until the ribbon looks like a messy bun. Sew the button in the middle, then sew the whole thing to the headband.
I sewed mine right on the seam of the headband, so I wouldn't have to worry abut the seam showing if the messy bun flower was worn on the other side of the head.
Here's how it looks when it's done. This was easy and took about five minutes.
