Place the apples in a bowl and add the remaining lemon juice.

Add the brown sugar, flour and cinnamon.

With the best tools you own, your hands, mix the apples and the ingredients thoroughly.

Pour the apple mixture in the prepared pie crust.

Put the pieces of butter all around.

Place 5 strips, pull back 1/2 way every other strip. Place one long strip perpendicular, unfold strips. Pull back other 2 strips, repeat process. Just watch the design. It will create the lattice.

Place in the preheated 400 degree oven and bake for 20 minutes. Lower the heat to 375 and bake for 40-45 minutes. Watch the edges for browning. Cover if necessary.

It's an apple cutter/corer. You can find them at any store that has kitchen gadgets. I got mine from Pampered Chef.
