I make mine a little different. I freeze overipe bananas in their peels & when I want to use I cut in half & micro for 30 secs, peel and put in food processor w/ a little cocoa powder & frozen strawberries. Process until desired thickness & enjoy!

Delicious! I added coconut milk and peanut butter as well as a scoop of chocolate protein powder. It was like soft ice cream and very yummy. Thanks for posting this idea.

Does this store well? If so, for how long?

Margarita- i would guess freezing them would allow them to be able to have the consistency of ice cream once blended.

I never thaw. I do 2 frozen bananas, 1 cup of almond or coconut milk (sugar free vanilla coconut milk is my favorite), and then usually a tablespoon of peanut butter. DELICIOUS!!!

What's the point of freezing and then thawing? Why not just put it in directly out of the fridge?
