Start with a non-corrugated cardboard box like a cracker or cereal box. Keep the bottom of the box unopened or tape shut if necessary. Fold the top flaps inward and crease the sides inward down middle
Step 2 of 6
Punch holes through the front and back layers. Space the holes as wide as possible without punching through the side layers.
Step 3 of 6
Decide how long you want the handles to be, and cut two strings of that length.
Step 4 of 6
Run string through a hole. Tie a knot in the end of string inside the box. Run the other end of string outside to inside through other hole on same side of box. Tie end knot. Repeat for second side.
Oh, man. Super cool idea! I recycle just about everything, but just the old boring tossing it in the recycle bin kind of way. Will do this for Xmas. Thanks!
I love it! What an ingenious idea! I will be doing this. I love being able to reuse products that we just simply throw away or recycle. Thank you so much for your videos!
Way cool idea; we all have favorite boxed foods, what a great way to know which gift goes to whom. I really appreciate that this recycles those boxes I've been crushing & wishing were more useful than recycle bin fillers. Thanks for the guide.
