Cut 22 inches of two pieces of one color. Braid the rickrack of your choice together like so. I used medium, but jumbo might be cute too.

Start to coil it, and also glue as you go. Find the side you like best and then towards the end of it only glue more towards the bottom of the petals. It will make it easier to peel back later.

Glue the butt end of it onto the side that you didn't like.

Cut some felt circles that match your ribbon color. The circles should be a tad smaller than the flowers.

Glue a felt circle to the flower, and then glue that to the headband. (The white was a bit of paper that got stuck when I was gluing)

Glue the matching felt circle to the other side of the headband. Make a headband sandwich. Sometimes the glue seeps through the felt and there will be little gray spots.

Peel back the petals to make it look more like a realistic flower.

@Grace C Thanks!! :) it's a present for my little cousin. I found a tutorial on Pinterest on how to make rickrack rose rings and thought what else I could do with the idea instead of rings. Next I'm going to make a brooch for my aunt.
