Thank you. May I recommend smoking a block of cheese. Use a mild wood chip such as pear wood, soaked in water for 30 minutes. Place cheese right up in the top drawer. 1.5 hours should do it. Enjoy with water crackers, some fresh fruit and a nice wine.

I don't normally cook on the surfaces of the cabinet. I would consider the possibility of scraping back internal paint before you use it if you have concerns with toxicity of the internal coatings.
