How to Make a Electric Motor
These are the things you need.
First make the wire streight.
Bend the wire into roughly this shape.
I suggest starting off symmetrical. This piece of wire is too long. The ends should reach about 1.5 cm (1/2 inch) below the end of the battery.
Mind the tiny kink on the top. The wire is going to spin on it.
Bend the ends in opposite directions.
Then give them a slight curve. The circle formed by them should be about the size of you magnet.
The assembly is simple. But you might have to play around with the shape of the wire to get it right. Note: the wire tips should touch the magnet ever so slightly.
