Step 2 of 6

First of all, take the rope and cut it in three different lengths. Take the yarn and tie it together. Start to wrap the yarn around the rope.

Step 3 of 6
Continue wrapping the yarn around the rope. Hide the other ones under the color you're wrapping. Continue wrapping until you've covered all the three ropes.

Step 5 of 6
Add glue to your end cap and squeeze in the three ropes. It's a bit tricky but don't give up. Do the same thing to the other side. When the glue has dried put on the jump rings and the lobster clasp.

Nikki: I never tie of an end. I hide the colors I don't use under the color I wrapp around the rope. If you look closely at step 3 you can see the white and the pink color that is placed on top of the rope. That way you don't get any "bumps" on your necklace. Hope you get what I mean. :)

I love this idea! But how so you recommend tying off each set? Like when you are in the middle of the rope and want to start a new color?

This looks like the stuff people get put on their hair. Can you do this on your hair? Minus the clasps and making it a bracelet of course
