The olive oil keeps the brushes moisturized and the soap cleans them. When they're done drying they feel very soft too.
I used a normal dish soap and olive oil.
Add olive oil to your plate. I just used the cap measurement. You don't need a lot.
Then add the same amount of washing liquid.
I'm going to be using my powder sponge. It's very dark from my makeup. You can use any brush remember that! (: I'm just using this cause the results are amazing.
The lighter whit part is basically it's normal color. Let's get it new again!
Start by placing it in the mixture and swish it around to clean it.
You will start to notice your mixture will turn the color of the brush/sponge.
After you think it's clean enough, rinse it warm water. Make sure you get all the suds out.
And wow! It's like new(:of course it's going to be a little stained. But it's still clean now! (:
You don't have to, but I dumped mine and added a new mixture for my other brushes . You don't have to do this everytime. I just did it because it seemed like it was too used .
To know it's working: if your brush has a dark color of maybe eyeshadow, it should show up in the mixture. Just keep mixing it in the brush till you start to see it's original color(:
Wow. Theres more on your brushes then you think! So many colors lol
Dry them on a napkin or paper towel! Your done(: thanks for viewing
