I made some changes to the classic apple pie to make it easier to make even on weeknights without loosing its original taste and beauty. Enjoy! ❀

Put the apple in a microwave safe bowl, add sugar, apple juice, corn flour, salt, and cinnamon. Gently toss everything together. If you like, add raisin, it's really good. 😁

Put the bowl in the microwave oven and nuke it on high for 4 minutes, stir gently and nuke it for another 4. When done, add lime juice and fold gently and leave to cool in room temp.

Dice or shred cold butter into small pieces.

Cut and blend the flour and the butter together. You can use your hand, if you like, but it will get pretty messy. ☺

Divide the dough in half. Put the second half back in the fridge.

Roll out thinly. Try to make it close to your pan's shape as possible.

Take the other half of dough out from the fridge and roll out as thin as you can. Lazy? Put it over you pan just like that. And poke some venting holes.

Cut anything beyond out border strip.

Press the fork on the border strip to seal and decorate the pie.

Use cookie cutter, cutting out cute shapes and place them on ur pie to cover up mistakes. πŸ˜“

Preheat the oven to 180 and check your pie one last time.

Put the pie on a rack and bake for around 40 minutes. By the time you smell delicious aroma from your oven. It should be golden brown and ready.
