Fold 1x 20cm blue cord in half and string charm onto doubled up cord. Place charm at center and knot at either end so it stays in place. My apologies for not taking a picture at an earlier stage.
Grab one of the 60cm pink cords and place under the blue, centered.
Form a 'P' with the pink cord. Look at the picture and take note that the cord I crossed from the right to the left, is over the blue, but under the other pink cord.
Check out the picture. The way I've been explaining things so far, maybe it's best I leave it to the photo to do all the talking.
After you pulled the cords tight, this is the knot that you should have made.
Do the same on the other side. Create a number '4' this time. Left goes to right, over blue and under pink.
Same pretzel thing as last time. And pull tight.
Keep alternating knotting sides. This is what it should be looking like. Once finished knotting down this side of the charm, take the second 60cm pink cord and do the other...
If you started on the side with the looped blue cord - once you are finished knotting (keep loop big enough so your button can pass through) tie the pink cords in several knots and trim ends.
Knotted with trimmed ends.
Once finished with the other side of the charm (with the two loose blue cord ends), knot the blue ends several times and trim unwanted ends. Don't cut the pink cords, you need them for the next step.
Weave your pink cords through your button like so.
Turn over and knot the pink cords together several times and cut off unwanted ends.
All trimmed up. And your done! Finally!
Maybe even show it off to friends and boast about it.
