Cut of a piece of thread. I used thread from a Criss Angel Magic Kit so I don't know if any kind of thread will work. Fish line might work but I haven't tried that yet.

Start unraveling the thread. If your using fish line, you can skip to Step 7.

Unravel it until you can barely see it.

Put a tiny piece of clay on one end of the thread.

I used the fish line for another trick when I was a child .. The trick was the currency note (dollar) that folds on its own. It worked fine.
