I remember my mother doing this project with me as a little girl and to this day I can't look at a pansy without thinking of her!

Find an assortment of shapes and colors.(white flowers may have a tendency to yellow)

Look for flowers that will lat flat  (and are non- toxic and that you are not  allergic to!)

Fold a piece of wax paper in half and place flowers along the fold.

Turn your iron on to a medium warm setting.

Hi Grace, I made mine in May and it still looks the same. I'm sure it won't last forever but sealing in wax does help preserve them for a long time.

Hi Maggie, I'm so glad you like this. Mothers LOVE hand made gifts! The melting of the wax paper helps preserve the flowers. I remember it lasting a pretty long time. You can also try adding glitter or crayon shavings which add to the 'stained glass look'. I hope you'll have fun!
