After you've cast on your stitches...
...You'll notice a loop..
....Put the needle through the loop from the front..
Take your yarn and loop it around the front..
This part is weird. And I'm sorry there's no video! After you wrap it around, with the yarn still around the needle, pull it through the same loop you pushed the needle through.
Then you pull it away and that 'drops the stitch', which is fancy phrase for knitting! :) Hope this helped!
I had a video, but since I uploaded it to my iPod, apparently it can't work! I'm sorry!!
Incase you were wondering what it was I was making, it was a Ravenclaw scarf for myself. :)
If you want to make yourself an awesome Hogwarts House scarf, here's the pattern: Size 8 circular needles Cast on 65, knit together Knit 30 main color Knit 3 other Knit 4 main Knit 3 other Repeat.
