Tie one simple knot to start

Put the right string underneath the cord and over top the left string

Put the right string underneath the cord and over top the left string

Put the left string over the cord and through the right hole

Put the left string over the cord and through the right hole

Step 7 of 12

Pull tight. Repeat steps 5 and 6 ( do not tie knot, thats just the start) till you get to the desired length of that color. Tie a single knot to end the color

Half the second color over the cord and strings from the first color

Tie a simple knot to the end of the first color

Tie a simple knot to the end of the first color

Step 11 of 12

Repeat steps 5 and 6 over the cord and strings from first color. Keep repeating till the entire earphones are covered using different lengths and colors. Once to the ends tie a double knot.

i crocheted over mine and it reall works!! no more tangling!! just do a single crochet all over till the cords are covered. weave in the ends and you are done. great idea!!!!
