Remove the old deadbolt.

Remove the old strike plate.

Remove the old latch.

Install the new latch.

Install the new strike plate.

Install the new electronic deadbolt assembly. Align the shank with the hole on the new latch, and allow the deadbolt wiring to pass through.

Install the mounting plate to the inside of the door with the provided screws.

Connect the wiring to the battery terminal, then connect the battery.

Attach the deadbolt cover with the provided screws.
