How to Instagram Update! Post Vertical Photos in Whole

This simple guide will finally show you how to post you're artistic photos without having to crop away any piece of it! 😄

Normally when you try to edit you're picture in whole on instagram, it doesn't let you!

Let's begin! :D The first step is to download the free app, Montage Lite.

Step 3 of 11

When you open the app, it'll lead you to this page. Tap the + sign in the top left corner to get started!

Step 4 of 11

Once you select your photo, it'll take you to this screen. Here you have the option of Color, B&W, or Sepia. Once you've decided, hit "Add".

Step 5 of 11

Here you edit your picture to about the same scale as the image shown above. This is to ensure perfection later on. Once satisfied, tap "Save"! 😊

I highly suggest saving the image as a Double. The picture is crisp and clear this way. Once selected, tap "Render".

Step 7 of 11

One you're led to this screen, tap "Save" again and "Save to Photo Library".

Step 8 of 11

Now you're ready to open Instagram and it's photo editor! Use the latest photo added to your photo library to begin edit. 😊

Step 9 of 11

See how the entire photo fits within the crop box now? 😄 Also, the extra white will simply blend into the Instagram background later on.

Edit the photo as you please.....

The new update makes you crop even if flipped sideways.

There's actually a simpler way to keep the whole image. You just flip the picture horizontal by pressing EDIT on the photo screen on your iPhone. Then you go on instagram, choose the flipped photo and flip it back to normal on the instagram options.
