Step 4 of 5

Add in 1/3 cup ricotta, 10 Splenda packets (or what ever kind of sugar you want) and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Step 5 of 5
I put them in a small cupcake tin or on wax paper and a cookie sheet. I also use butter before putting them in the tin so it is easier to take out. Refrigerate for 20 minutes and enjoy. Kid approved!

Yes!! I use stevia but you can use any sugar substitute!! I use to use splenda until i learned more about how bad splenda is for you. Let me know what you end up using and how good it tastes! I have to make a nee batch myself as they were gone the first nite!!

Hi Stacy, I'm sure you might have been waiting for this question.. LoL. Can I use any type of sugar substitute in this recipe? When I bought my home more than 20 yrs. ago I was fortunate to have the most lovely elderly couple living next to me. The husband passed last yr. and his wife is now in her late 80's with some health issues like diabetes but she loves her sweets all the same. She's only one person so I always add an extra plate at dinner for her and I bake her sugar free desert when I can bit she likes her specific brand because some of the others due to the sacrin (sp?) give her headaches. This recipe looks sooo yummy, I can't wait to try it! :-)
