Cool! That's a whole lot easier than a separate app. Thank you VERY much. I have plenty to hide 😎

Sol PC

Oh okay thanks Katie (:

Go into the cropping mode again and you should be able to make the cropping section larger to fit the whole page.

Sol PC

How do you go back to view the original picture? :)

Sol PC 6 months ago

Katie Lee

Yes there are tons of apps out there to hide your private pictures. This was just a little thing that I did for a few pictures.

I'll just leave this here: "CP Pro" app has it's own Quick Roll with Private section that you can lock with password. Perfect solution. The app is not free though.

Angela Dumas

Wow. That's awesome. I did not even know it did that! I had cropped one of my fav pics a long time ago, thinking it would make a duplicate, but it didn't and I was so sad. I Kat went back to that picture I still had in my camera roll, and hit edit and crop and there was the whole photo again!! Thanks so much!! :D

@justine2707 it's in the top right corner. At least for the iPhone...sorry, I'm not sure about other phones but I'm sure they have the same feature

Agent Blue

More easy would be to use an app like "secret folder", as you can hide all the pictures and others but more easy to have a look at them and not just one by one.

Justine2707 Chimmy

Where can I find the edit tool/option when I have selected a photo?

Justine2707 Chimmy 9 months ago

Sonia Benson

Thx Katie! I knew I could crop photos. Just didn't know that the original pic remained after cropping. Explains why my cropped pic uploaded to Facebook as the original. This is a cool feature to have. Thx again.

It actually does not duplicate it. And at any time you can go back and edit it and reverse crop it to big again. Try it.
