Step 5 of 18

This is an extra step. So you can eat the fruit. Also don't cut all the way through. Just don't cut the skin, only the fruit part.

Step 6 of 18
Almost the seed (the middle piece)

Step 7 of 18

Now with the middle piece, cut away any fruit that is on the seed. Also run it under warm water to get any fruit off it. The seed is the hard thing.

Step 8 of 18

This is almost the seed.

Step 9 of 18

When I was rinsing the seed the slit was already open. Other seeds may not. So gently find a way to open it.

Step 14 of 18

Wrap the seed in the wet paper towel and put it in the plastic bag

Step 15 of 18

Now find a window that gets a lot of sun inside your house and tape it on the window or place it on the ledge of the window or if you have a table by a window put it there. Just make sure it gets sun

Step 16 of 18
Step 17 of 18

Now wait and watch it grow. Also make sure the towel is always wet.

Step 18 of 18

I will make another guide when my seed hopefully grows its roots and stem. Until then have fun growing.

It is better to start to grow in dirt most of my mango seeds iv grown grow better when started in the dirt than with a wet paper towel and they usually rot with a wet towel.
