Start with clean, polish-free nails
Paint your nails white. Let them dry! You probably could paint them a lot neater than I did.
Spread a layer of petroleum jelly all around your nails and fingers, but don't get any on your actual nail!
Open the bottles of polish you plan to use because you will need to be quick with the next few steps.
Have the cups with water ready too!
Drop a drop of one of your colored polishes in the water. (It might help to tip your bottle of polish over) It should float to the top and spread out.
This is with the first color. Quickly drop in other colors. You want to be quick so the polish won't dry out.
With two more colors dropped in
Now use a toothpick to swirl the colors a bit.
Now dip your nail into the water, lifting up a layer of polish. Don't worry about polish on your finger, the petroleum jelly will make it come off easily.
It should look like this! :)
Now use the toothpick to pick up the dry polish off of the water.
After you've taken your nail out, use a q-tip and nail polish remover to clean off the stuff on your finger. Then repeat the process on all of your nails! Mine need some cleanup.
Done. I like this nail the most :) ah and also feel free to add a top coat!
