Did you know that peppermint oil keeps mice away also. I traveled in an RV and one camp ground was loaded with mice. I had 6 at one time invade my RV. I placed the oil where I thought they were coming in and they all left in a hurry. Do NOT spray it on your bed. It is a stimulant and will keep you awake all night. I learned the hard way. Lol. Good luck.

Debby- i would suggest only high quality peppermint essential oils to use. I know only of DoTerra brand because that is what i use- So yes with DoTerra. You would have to research on other oils (i don't know what their quality is like) if you wanted to use them. You could actually apply the oils anywhere where spiders are and even your bed! They don't like the smell. As far as spraying- i spray everyday or every time i go out the back door. That has seemed to keep them away!! ((We use to have spiders on a regular basis when we opened out door. Last time was a wolf spider with her 100 babies on her back that my husband didn't know and tried to kill it. Wooops. They went everywhere. So i researched and tried this and in my opinion --IT WORKS!! )))

Can i use this to spray throughout my house and basement to keep away spiders... Like especially my bedroom... So i don't have to worry about spiders on me in my sleep? And once you spray, how long does it last?

Nicole- i hate spiders so i spray every time i open our back door. Btw- i am not the only one opening the door. The process is the spiders don't like the smell so they tend to stay away!
