How to Freshen Air With Homemade Spray

This spray is to take bad odor out of air not to be used on fabrics.

Step 1 of 10

Gather supplies

Step 2 of 10

Measure out 1 ounce Rubbing Alcohol (Isopropyl). May substitute with an odorless liquor like Vodka or Gin.

Step 3 of 10

Add scented oil to liking. Use any scent you like as long as it is an oil. Add as much as you like for a lighter or stronger scent. Add a few drops at first, can add more if not strong enough.

Step 4 of 10

Add 6 ounces of water and mix well.

Step 5 of 10

Pour into spray bottle. I'm reusing a body spray bottle. ♻

Step 6 of 10

Optional: May add couple drops of food coloring.

Step 7 of 10

Just a couple will do!

Step 8 of 10

Swirl around till mixed.

Step 9 of 10

Add label of recipe.

Step 10 of 10

Place on back of toilet 🚽..for obvious reasons. 👃 Enjoy!

You can use body oil that is in the bathing section, massage oil, fragrance oils that would be where the candles, potpourri, etc are or can use flavoring oil in the spice and seasoning section. Just about any kind of an oil that has a scent to it can be used. I used some massage oil that has a red hots fragrance.
