This is what your hand-dragon will look like. By moving your thumbs to open and close the mouth, it works like a puppet. NOTE: Ask a friend to help you use the guide (your hands will be busy).
Step 2 of 10
A front shot of the hand-dragon.
Step 3 of 10
Start by holding your hand side by side. Your pinkies should be touching. Keep them straight. Your pinkies will be the horns.
Step 4 of 10
Fold down your ring fingers so that they cross the base. Keep them straight. The tips of your ring fingers will be the dragon's eyes.
Step 5 of 10
Fold your right middle finger down over your right finger.
Step 6 of 10
Fold your left middle finger down over your left ring finger. Your middle fingers should remain uncrossed, with the fingernails touching.
Step 7 of 10
This step is a bit tricky. Bring your index fingers down UNDERNEATH your ring -fnger eyes. Straighten your index fingers and bring them up so that they touch the bottoms of your ring fingers.
Step 8 of 10
Bring your thumbs together to form the bottom of the mouth.
Step 9 of 10
Separate your pinkies to make the horns.
Step 10 of 10
Move your thumbs to make the hand-dragon talk! The dragon looks even better if you're wearing thin gloves. It's harder to do, because the gloves make your fingers stiffer. But it looks great.
