I hope it works ...my son's iPod touch has been lost ...buried out in a snowbank for over two weeks. He was beside himself with joy when he found it while walking the dog this sunny and warm afternoon now that the snow has melted. Though I'm not sure this trick will work after the iPod being out buried in the wet snowbank for so long:/

I haven't needed to try it on my iPhone yet (thank God!), but I've had huge success with other phones in the past. Also, I was told to remove the battery and place it in the rice separately. It worked great for me!
