First gather supplies: pencil, rubber and piece of paper

Draw a long oval lightly in pencil

Draw a long line from the top of the oval to the bottom a few centimeters in

Draw a straight line part way down the line you just drew, this will be his shoulders and another line shorter and at an angle this will be where his legs start

Draw a zig-zag for his arm at the end of his shoulder and a short line in the middle for his neck

Draw a circle for his head

Draw a curvy line for his leg and foot

Draw a curved line for his torso

Draw a balloon shape at the end of his arms to get a basic idea of where his hand will be

Now let's give him a cape! 💛

Draw a line starting up near his head I know it might look weird at first but we can link it on to his neck afterwards

Draw some folds as his cape and then a long curving line linking back to where his knee should be

Now let's give him some hands 👍

Draw a rectangle that kind of looks like its bent in half for his wrists and a sort of wiggly line for his knuckles or you can draw a straight line and add the knuckles later

Draw an almost rectangle for his thumb and add a curved line for his finger

Add some u's for the rest of his fingers

Add a small v for the cuff on his sleeve

Do the same for his other hand

Draw in some muscle lines with a sort of lump at the start of the third muscle to indicate the elbow

Do the same for the other arm

Draw some lines that will give superman a thick neck

Add some ears we can make them look better later

Draw a loose 3 to make his chin

Add a zig-zag line with superman's trademark curl at the end

Add some scribbly hair on top

Add some eyebrows and basic eyes

Add a wiggly s for the cheek bone a thick m for the lip and a curvy L for the nose with a dot for a nostril as well as a little line under the lip for his chin

Rub out some of the neck line to give him a neck like this then add some extra detail to the neck like so

Now for his chest 😍

Draw a curved line roughly following your guidelines down to just above the line that shows where his legs will start. Draw a small curve just below his shoulder overlapping the bent arm

Draw a long y just under his shoulder

Draw a curved line as a guide for his muscles

Draw some curved lines for his muscles you can draw them more detailed if you want to though

Draw a belt and some underpants

Now lets draw the legs👟

Draw a leg like this the lump indicates his knee and the other points are going to be guidelines for his shoes

Add in some thick muscle lines like so

And draw a long v shape to show where the shoes will start

For the other leg draw a large almost oval where the bottom of his leg almost touches his other leg

Draw in some muscle lines with an upside down c for the knee

Draw the foot behind

Now for the cape 😄

Draw a thick line over your guideline for the cape

Add some connecting lines to show where the cape is connected to the costume

Draw a line from the arm to the knee to complete the cape

Now for the superman logo ❤

Draw a diamond shape

Draw an outline

And finish with an S 😊

Done! You can color him in if you want or add some shading but I'm just going to leave him as a sketch. Hope this helped 💛😄
