Start here :)
Split your legs as wide as you can and hold your weight in your hands. Make sure you breathe deeply so you get oxygen to your muscles. Slowly put more weight onto your legs, lowering yourself.
Please don't try to get all of the way down in one stretch,or you will pull your hamstring. This will take continual stretching over time to get, but with perseverance and pain tolerance, you will :)
Once you have your splits, you can get into them from standing :) you can go with or without hands, but I showed without. Start with your front foot pointed (r foot= r split, l foot= l split).
Start sliding down into your splits. If using hands, this is where they would be put down.
Slide into your splits. Pull up your stomach to balance.
