Take a strip of paper and put its end into the slot of the quilling needle. Now rotate the needle so as to make a coil.

What if you do not have the quilling needle is there anything else you can use .. Or maybe buy one ?? Thanks and they are so pretty can prob put one one a card for bday or special occasions! :)))

I think you should get the needle at any stationary shop...you can also get ready made coloured strips of paper
