How to Do Make Up Without Foundation
I ran out of foundation, blusher and decent eye shadow but too tight to buy new ones until pay day. So I compromised with what I had and was pleasantly surprised! Thought I'd share ๐
I've moisturised my face and added a little fake tan to give my face some colour.
This is my favourite item! This concealer is creamy, provides excellent cover but not too thick and a little goes a long way.
I've used this on areas I wanted to look even so eyelids, under the eye, creases around my nose and patches on my face. Here I've done the right of my face.
Blend with the foundation brush for an even finish.
Ta da!
This is some cheap eye shadow I found. I used the light colour to go over my eyelids.
Optional to put under the eye to make your eyes pop out more.
Found this brown eyeshadow which I put on the creases of the lids and blended but didn't go all the way to the lash line.
Top pic: right eye with eyeshadow. Middle pic: Same again. Bottom pic: both eyes
This is the eyeliner I use which comes with a brush. I did make a video but it was so bad it wasn't useable!
Use a stroke action to swipe across the eyelid I keep repeating until I get desired thickness and line. When you get to the corner, follow the bottom of the eye line to do the flick.
Use the eyeliner to fill in between the lashes for a fuller look. I used a dark eye shadow to go over the eyeliner so it wasn't so bold and harsh. As an option you can do your lower lid.
I then used my eyeliner brush with left over eyeliner to draw a subtle line to define the bottom curve of the eyebrow. I started about a centimetre in.
Then using an eyebrow shade, I filled in the eyebrow to give them a fuller look. This item is from mac and the empty side had a nice natural colour which goes just under the brow for highlighting.
How I look so far ๐
Using the same concealer from earlier I dabbed some on my lips. Then used a red lip stick to go around my lip line, don't worry if it's messy like me as all you need to do is rub your lips together.
Then I went over my lips using this lip gloss. Running out of this too lol.
Summery and natural looking lips!
How I look so far
I used mascara on the top and bottom of my lashes
Using these pink eye shadows I worked in circular motions on my cheeks as blusher.
And there we have it!
I'm not a pro, but this worked for me well and now I'm not in a rush to spend all my money on new make up! ๐
