I was lazy to file all of my nails for this guide, but i usually file them in the rounded corner square shape like in the picture above.
Step 2 of 8
Paint your tips with any colored nail polish. I chose baby blue. Make sure it's painted evenly.
Step 3 of 8
Once all of your tips are painted, pour a little bit of nail polish remover/ acetone into the shot glass/small container. Get your brush ready.
Step 4 of 8
Dip brush into nail polish remover and slowly brush away excess nail polish and start shaping the nail curve. I apologize for the pour video quality. My cousin cant record videos lol
Step 5 of 8
Acetone/nail polish remover dries quickly so u might need to pour some more into the dipping container.
Step 6 of 8
This is how it looks after shaping it.
Step 7 of 8
Paint the top coat and youre done. :)
Step 8 of 8
I hope this helps. I've seen videos with really bad techniques of doing french tips. It irked me enough to make my own video. Lol
acetone and nail polish remover dries out my skin more than my nails. i usually wash my hands after i use those products. after doing my nails i usually put lotions on my hands or use a cuticle oil. :)
