First, create an even part down the center of your scalp. It's hard to tell by the picture but you want it to go all the way to the base of your scalp on your neckline.

Thanks :) actually my hair does that too, the lower it gets. I think it's kind of unavoidable. Fortunately with styles like this where you're putting it up, it doesn't matter so much.
