I know this isn't all that earth shattering. But I thought it was kind of neat and decided to share. :)
The Fushigi ball is the acrylic ball with a metal ball inside it that you might have seen on TV. It's used for a form of juggling called Contact Juggling. It was pretty popular this past year.
So I figured some of you might have one and might like this optical illusion you can do with one. I discovered this last summer by accident.

The reason the ball can appear to be floating is because you can't see it spinning. When it's rolling it'll look like its sliding. Takes a lot of practice but when done right the illusion of floating can be very strong.

The fushigi ball doesn't do anything. It's just a ball. You have to practice contact juggling to do it. But the ball itself doesn't do anything special. Do a YouTube or google search for "contact juggling".
