Yea you dont have to use stickers i you dont have them! The nail strips stick on pretty well depending on the quality and thickness of your polish, and they stick on dry as well. But if youre particularly having problems with it sticking, then you can put a little bit of top coat when putting that strip and it should work just fine!(:

So when you're putting the strips on your nails they just stick? You don't have to use stickers or anything?? I saw another herringbone guide that used stickers, and I wanted to do it so bad but I don't have any stickers and I tried hand painting.. But that didn't work at all. Lol

No, it should be applied when its dry because its easier to move it around if you need to adjust it. The strip should attach pretty well even when dry, but if you are really having trouble getting it to stay on then you can put a little bit of top coat on the part where youre sticking it(:
