When the passion is chilled, it's time to spin it. Throw the carmine liquid into your ice cream maker, following its instructions. I usually spin for a half hour, but check on it every five minutes.

Tazo has a lot of herbal teas, but the passion is by far the most popular. But the tazo china green tips would make a great tasting sorbet too!

@Jeni, this particular tea is not caffeinated that I know of. If you're looking for non-caff, look for herbals and red teas (rooibos).

Oh okey thanks :)

Kelsey Eliason

Yes but try to use a sweet herbal tea like hibiscus. Otherwise this works the same for Earl Grey, just use lemon instead of lime juice.

A little secret to share. All you need is a small container to fit inside a larger one like a big coffee can. Put your ingredients in the small one and rock salt and ice int

The supplies list doesn't seem to have a specific amount of juice. I'm guessing it's 2 cups, but I wanted to ask.

You can always do a granita. Just watch it and start forking apart the ice crystals after an hour and continue ever 20 minutes or so. Let me know how it goes! Try some of this granita over a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, too.

Jessica Brown

Do you have to spin it? I don't have one and I am wondering if it would be ok to put the mixture into a rectangle dish and make like a granita..thoughts?
