Don't have money for a class set of iPads and the Apple suite (including Numbers)?
Visit nces.ed.gov/nceskids/index.asp or google "create a graph".
Choose the Design of your graph. Note you can choose multiple types of graphs, shading and background color, and 2D and 3D.
Choose the Data tab and enter a title and item labels for your data (this may vary with the graph selected).
Choose the Labels tab. Select a type from the drop-down (this may vary with the graph selected).
Customize the remainder of the Data label section (position, font, color) and Font section (font, color, size).
Once the graph has been generated, you can save a copy to your photo roll.
Email the graph or print it.
Note you can print as a PDF.
Open the PDF in another app. Consider annotating, inserting into a presentation, or adding to iBooks.
Graphs can also be downloaded in various file formats.
Note which file format is best for your purposes.
