My supplies. Pink Tease pink and yellow nail art pens. Barry M's base coat. Avon white.
First, start off with clean nails and apply a clear base coat. I have used Barry M's base coat/top coat/nail hardener. 3 in 1.... Always a bargain!
Then take your base colour, I've chosen white so that my colours jump out.
Two coats of said base colour for a more solid look....
For this first design, its simply a matter of having a steady hand in order to get the dots small, evenly spaced and in a straight line. I find dotting just under half of your nail adds charm.
My index finger is a really simple flower. One big yellow dot, surrounded by pink enlongated dots for petals. You could do more than just one flower if you have room.... And patience!!
My middle finger design looks a little harder but again it's really easy. Start in the middle of the nail and dot outward in a spiral shape.
This design is pretty straight forward, doesn't really need explaining.
And last but not least, my favourite. The dotted heart! Again, not a difficult one just keep the hand steady and you're laughing!! You could continue with the heart shadow to fill the whole nail.
To add a bit of sparkle to my ring finger I've added some yellow and pink love hearts. These are optional and could be any shape or colour! But for me and my perfectionist OCD mine had to match!
Finally. Clean any unwanted varnish off with a cotton bud and some nail varnish remover and add a clear top coat when everything is completely dry!
I hope you like these few designs.... I might tackle my right hand tomorrow.... As for now, I've got a numb bum from sitting on the floor. Please like and follow, I've got so much more to come!!!
