How to Create Acid Wash Nails
Just a disclaimer, I did do this design as a pedicure, so if someone has an aversion to feet, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED ;)
Start out by removing your polish. I learned this technique from Snap Guide, and I'll try to post the link.
All done
Polishes u need.
Apply a base coat.
While u wait for it to dry, shove cotton pads between your toes or a spacer.
Take your blue. This is Russian Navy by OPI
Apply a thin coat. I only need one coat of this anyways.
Since I'm a cultz, I always screw up with dark colors. This can be cleaned up later.
Apply white overtop of the blue ONCE THE BLUE HAS COMPLETELY DRIED.
Add more coats of white until it is almost completely solid over the blue.
Take a cotton bud dipped in nail polish remover and create designs in the polish. YOU MUST WAIT UNTIL THE POLISH HAS COMPLETELY DRIED BEFORE YOU DO THIS.
Other side.
Clean up your mess.
Final look...
Don't forget to apply a topcoat...
All done!
