How to Create a Salon Style French Manicure With Gems

Another design I did before discovering Snapguide. But it's pretty straight forward.

This is how it should look once you're finished.

After applying the clear base coat, a nude varnish is optional. I just stuck with the clear varnish though.

Once the base coat is dry, a steady hand is required to paint white smile lines around the tips of your nails. Once you've done that, fill in from the smile lines to the edges with white.

Step 4 of 7

On your chosen finger/fingers place nail gems around the smile lines. I've used clear gems this time, but I suppose using coloured gems would make the nail/nails stand out more.

Lastly, once everything is completely dry, add the top coat to hold the gems in place and wait to dry.
