How to Create a French Twist SidePonytail
Before I start, I'm wearing very little makeup. This is Covergirl's FreshComplexion concealer in Creamy Natural. Also, Maybeline's GreatLash Mascara in Blackest Black, and Baby Lips in Peach Kiss.
Start with clean hair. This is just the hotel shampoo I'm using while on vacay in Egypt.
This is how my hair started out.
Take out your hair.
Brush thoroughly. You may want to spray LIGHTLY some detangler to help with the knots.
Part your hair to your side of choice, to the outside corner of the eye.
Pick up about 1/2 inch of hair at a time. Pick up the next and twist. Repeat
Keep twisting until you reach the opposite side of your head. Secure temporarily with an elastic.
Do the same twisting technique with the other side.
Undo ur elastic and join the two sections in a side ponytail.
Bobby pin any imperfections as you wish.
Stay tuned for the fishtail portion, or leave it as it is!
Separate your hair into two equal sections to begin the fishtail.
Take small pieces from the OUTSIDE of one section and join it to the other. Repeat until done.
This is what your fishtail should end up looking like.
