I love dotted nail art, as I'm sure you'll notice in some of my other guides, but this is so simple it's a pleasure to do.

After applying a clear base coat, apply 2-3 coats of your base colour. I have used a nearly nude pink.
Next wait for the polish to dry slightly so that it's still a touch clammy. Then pick out some gems, I'm using light pink to go with my pink theme. Place the gems on the nail and press on firmly.
I have only added gems to my ring finger as I prefer it that way. You could do it to all of your fingers if you had enough gems, or maybe every other finger. Which ever you decide looks best.
After your base coat is completely dry with the gems set, use either a fine liner nail polish, dotting tool or bobby pin to dot the rest of your nails.
I have done the other hand in the opposite colours with white gems.
Clean any edges with a cotton bud dipped in nail polish remover.
Last but not least, apply plenty of clear top coat across the gemmed nail/nails. This seals them in from the top so they'll last longer. Enjoy the dottedness!!
