Step 3 of 5

A steady and firm grip on the tool and apple is necessary to avoid a crooked slice and possible injury. Once lined up on top of apple, ram it down with force!

Step 4 of 5

You can also use a knife but why dirty another utensil?

Hi Debie: No twisting necessary just push the scrapper through as you pull the apple out. Happy Baking, do you baked your apple pies with Lard?

Did u twist the gadget after it went thru the end of the apple... Your video didn't get what you were doing in the end.. I am always making apple pies and can't wait to buy a metal pastry scraper..
