I wrapped my baking sheet in aluminum foil, you don't have to but I would recommend it because of the cheese, in case of leaky. Much easier to clean.

Lay out your bread on your pan.

This is what I used. You can use anything, thick cut white bread is amazing for this ("Texas toast").

Next sauce. This is what I used but again, you can use anything. I also have hot sauce on mine.

There is  approximately one tablespoon on each piece.

Slap on some meats. This is honey ham and roasted chicken.

Shredded cheese, or slices - it all melts. This is mozzarella and old cheddar.

Sprinkle cheese and pop into oven. I also added parsley to mine, onion flakes to my other halves. Salt and pepper, to taste.

Roll around on the floor pretending to starve. Cook about 7 minutes, or until all melted. (my dad  typically does the classic; ham and marble cheese slices, near and dear to my heart yum yum).

Tried this tonight with what I had laying around in the fridge. I used whole wheat sandwich thins, BBQ sauce, grilled chicken pieces and cheddar cheese. Excellent! And so easy! Great idea :)
