How to Cook My Favourite Spaghetti Bolognese
My personal favourite way to cook bolognese! Hope you enjoy it ^^
Here's all the things you need to make the perfect bolognese ! All the ingredients are named in the supply list :)
First, rinse and peel all the vegetables and take the minced meat out of the fridge.
Chop the carrots inte small pieces . .
And the celery. .
. . The yellow onion. .
And the garlic!
Chop the rosemary and thyme as well.
Put all the vegetables plus herbs in a bowl and start slicing the bacon really thin! Start at the same time a frying pan at medium heat.
This is how thin it should be!
When the pan is hot, pour a tiny bit of olive oil and sprinkle the bacon and let it get golden brown.
When bacon is golden, pour in the bowl of vegetables and herbs, and let it Cook for approx 5-10 minutes.
After everything been cooked a bit softer, take out of pan into the bowl again and add some olive oil to the warm pan.
Put in the minced meat and saute until it looks like this. you can use whatever you prefer :) I used moose meat!
Then add the canned tomatoes. .
. . The vegetable mixture. .
And the stock plus some extra water.
And just a splash of vinegar, i use applecider vinegar, this takes the bolognese to another level!
Put a lid on the pan and let it Cook at a low heat for at least 30 min! The longer it cooks, the tastier it gets! Stir occasionly and fill up water if it loses too much during boilng.
When you think it's soon time to eat, pour a LOT of salt into a big pot and start to boil.
280 grams of pasta is enough to feed 4 persons :) just follow the instructions on the package and you cant fail.
This is how it looks at my stove right now, some broccoli as well, yum! Taste the bolognese - and if it's needed, add some pinches of salt and black pepper.
