A very traditional summer dish in Denmark. Glazed with mustard and brown sugar.

Turn your oven on to 435 F  Mix sugar and mustard. I like my mustard with a bit of a bite so I use dijon mustard. Use any mustard. You don't need brown sugar you can use white sugar.

Glaze it in the hot oven for 20 minutes. Keep an eye on it to prevent it to get burnt.

Thanks Karen, here in the US, smoked hams are usually sold 'fully cooked', is that the same in Denmark? Can you call me next time you're serving this, it looks delicious, and I can just pop over! Mmmmmm

Dear Suey this is only a 2.2 lb. piece and not a full leg of ham. For every 2 lb. you need a boiling time of 40 minutes and just as long a time resting in the water off the heat. If you can gat a piece of smoked bacon you can boil it the same way. Nice cold in a sandwich with mustard and salat πŸ˜„
