That's ok ☺ yeah I know I look through some of the guides and I'm like WHAT?! 😱haha yeah I saw that guide and left her a comment, it's hard to tell someone what they are doing is wrong without sounding like I'm being mean, but I feel like they need to be aware and so do viewers

Oops hit send, sad to think that lots of younger girls will learn incorrect/bad techniques from the uneducated authors. For example, "use foundation thats 1 shade darker than natural skin tone". WTF? Lol never in my life have I EVER heard anyone suggest that!

Awesome!! Really appreciate the help, theres lots of MU guides here but its easy for me to tell which authors are giving educated advice and tips and i look forward to any guides your posting in the future. Its sad to think so

Here's a web address for a palette 👆 x hope this helps also I use the same brush for the shadow and the warmth and a separate softer contour brush for the highlighting, and I use the sponge and duo fibre brush for blending x

Thank you! The makeup I used is by makeup studio a brand made for MUA students. Basically by powders that are 2-3 shades darker than the natural shadows on your face. The powders used for contouring also has to be matte to look natural (except for the highlighting part, you can use something pearlescent if you want a nice sheen as well as a highlight). I think mac do powders especially made for contouring but any powders that have the factors I mentioned are fine! Some people even use matte eyeshadows :) I don't mind the questions it makes me work my brain! Aha. Just make sure you have a contour brush, I would highly recommend the mac 168 👍mac has got a contour palette or you can buy the refill thingies and put them in our own! http://www.macmakeuppsuppliers.com/6-color-contour-blush-palette-p-874.html

Great guide, its extra helpful to see the steps with videos. What is the name of the makeup your using? Is it just a blush compact of colors you chose or is a compact specifically made for contouring? Also, do u use the same brush for each area/color? Sorry for all the ?'s lol. I recently started to learn about contouring and wanna be sure im doing it right. I love makeup(esp MAC!) Any tips u may have on how to chose the right color of blush would be great too! Thanks!

Well I drink a lot of water and cleanse and tone with the brand "pure" after taking makeup off and I exfoliate with dermalogica once a week with a microfoliant
