These are the pastels I used, apparently, you arent supposed to use pastels, but what I am trying to say is that coloring your hair doesn't have to be expensive to look awesome.

Pick a color, there's no purple... :(

Step 3 of 6

Take a piece of hair and make it damp

Step 4 of 6

Lay it down on a pice of paper

Step 5 of 6

Stroke your hair with the pastel going down

Step 6 of 6

My hair is now blue, but also dry which is why you should do this for one day and then wash it right away, and yes it washes right out

You're right that everyone's hair is different. But if something is drying for hair, it will dry out ALL types of hair. And yeah, it might work, but not correctly or as efficiently as the correct pastels will.
