Power off the phone, and turn off all sounds

Remove the small screws on the bottom of the phone.

Slide the back of the case up. And pull straight off.

Remove small screw that is on the top of the battery connector and the antenna.

Remove small screw that is on the top of the battery connector and the antenna.

Lift up bracket and gently remove battery connector.

Using pull tab, gently pull the battery out.

When you are done, add the new battery and screw everything in place. Power it back up and you should be all set!

Just make sure to get the right battery. 4/4s, AT&T/Verizon etc. They are all a little different.

You can get the battery from iFixit or Ebay. Taking out the battery shouldn't void the warranty. If you do it right, it is an easy fix.

I am with Doug, I have not had to change the battery, but will keep this for reference. I imagine it would work for replacing the back of the phone case out as well (mine has a crack, but has not had any effect on performance). Thank you.
